Japanese patchwork fabric tote

Tote inspired by textiles and sewing styles of Korea and Japan. This tote is created from different scraps of vintage Japanese fabric are sewn to a backing of selvedge denim. Vertical sewing lines on this bag, a lighter color on the bobbin and a dark top thread gives the lines an almost pin check look. As the fabric wears thin with use (and it will) it will reveal the denim underneath becoming something new. We chose to put the darker indigo side of the denim on the interior of this bag. Made from vintage Japanese fabric scraps, selvedge denim, vintage military rifle sling leather straps, copper rivets with hand cut washers. 4 interior patch pockets.

Measurements - bag opening 16.5", bag depth 15", bag width at foot 7.5"

Interior pocket measurements - 4 interior pockets, 10" deep, 6.5" wide

Shoulder strap measurement from lip of bag to where it rests on shoulder - 10"
